Neil uses his twenty years of nursing experience as a foundation to apply the proactive strategies and skills of Traditional Oriental Medicine & Martial Arts, helping anybody from teenager to aged senior engage the innate healing mechanisms of our physical & mental being, enhancing the capacity to cope with the practical challenges of life while promoting a healthy relationship with nature’s cycles and seasons. The people who stand to benefit most from his style & approach recognize that health & wellness depends on a combination of genetics & lifestyle. While there is little we can do with what we were born with, there is a lot we can do with our choices, actions, tendencies and habits.
With the tools of acupuncture, cupping, tuina-massage, herbals, and qi gong, he is well equipped to help your body work through acute & chronic injuries, digestion & sleep problems, and of course general stress related issues from neck and shoulder tension to headaches, IBS, and more.
When he isn’t working, Neil enjoys finding commonalities in systems, both philosophically and physically. He likes climbing, boxing, traditional martial arts, beach volleyball, hiking, swimming, sauna, and finding a quiet tree to walk around while reading, listening to music or podcasts….oh, and dogs….he likes dogs too….and food…
